A 25-year old supermarket cashier won Sh682,392 after placing a Sh100 bet.

Wycliffe Otieno Omondi, who hails from Migori County, predicted 16 games correctly. “I had been winning small amounts from different bets I had been placing but this time round I won big after correctly predicting the outcome of 16 games,” he said.

While receiving the cheque, Otieno outlined plans to opening a viewing football base in his home area as well as building a house for his father.

“I will build my father a house with my winnings and also open up a small football viewing business where soccer fans will get to enjoy watching the beautiful sport of football at home,” a visibly jovial Otieno added.
