Nigerian to coach Arsenal

Arsenal football club has picked Nigerian, Marcellinus Anyanwu as the Arsenal Under-17 team coach.

Marcellinus Anyanwu who was a former assistant coach at Nigeria’s Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC helped Olukoya boys to be promoted into the Nigeria Premier League.

The prestigious Arsenal soccer academy which is based in Dubai is known for producing highly skilled players.

Since moving to the United Arab Emirates in 2013, Marcellinus has risen to fame in the coaching scene thus attracting interests from the Premier League teams.

He now becomes the first African to serve as a coach at the Arsenal Soccer Academy.
