The French Ligue 1 side are set announce the signing of Abdul Baba Rahman

Chelsea defender Abdul Baba Rahman is set to head to French side Stade Reims on loan.

According to the Daily Mail, the 24-year-old will join the Ligue 1 side until the end of the season.

Rahman joined Chelsea for £14m in 2015 and made 23 appearances under Jose Mourinho but has barely featured since falling out of favour and being loaned out under Antonio Conte.

Baba Rahman will be joining Stade Reims until the end of the season after unsuccessful loan stint with German club Schalke 04.
