Bandari are back in the country from their Zanzibar tour where they played two competitive friendly matches.

Team’s Technical Director Twahir Muhiddin believes the Zanzibar tour has impacted positive confidence to the players. The dockers won 3-1 against Zanzibar’s Jeshi la Kujenga Uchumi (JKU) and went ahead to draw 3-3 with Zanzibar Premier League champions Malindi FC at Amaan stadium.

“The two victories were good for Bandari as we continue to remain positive ahead of the start of the league next month,” said Muhuddin.

The former Harambee Stars tactician said they will play more competitive matches in Mombasa before the kickoff of the Sportpesa Premier League next month.

“We have lined up several friendlies before we take on Gor Mahia in Mombasa in the opening match on December 8,” said Muhiddin. [Ernest Ndunda]
