Arkadiusz Milik had a gun pushed into his face and his Rolex stolen after being robbed as he made his way home from Napoli's win over Liverpool, according to reports in Naples.
The Polish striker started for Carlo Ancelotti's men in their Champions League encounter with the Reds at the Stadio San Paolo.
Italian international Lorenzo Insigne turned home Jose Callejon's cross in the 90th minute to hand the Partenopei a deserved 1-0 win.
Milik, who joined Napoli two years ago but has seen his time in Italian football badly hindered by a pair of serious knee injuries, played 68 minutes before being replaced by Dries Mertens.
The 24-year-old took smiled and chatted to reporters in the mixed zone post-game, before heading home in the early hours of Thursday morning.

According to Il Mattino, the striker was in the Varcaturo region of Naples when he was blocked by two people on a motorcycle.
One of the assailants pointed a gun in his face, and ordered Milik to hand over his €20,000 Rolex Daytona.
After being handed the watch, the pair fled the scene. Milik would then drive to the nearest police station and officers are understood to be looking into the incident.
It is not the first time a Napoli player has been held up at gunpoint in the city.
Insigne, match-winner on Wednesday night, was similarly robbed in 2016 when driving home with his wife and friends.
Club captain Marek Hamsik was similarly targeted in 2013, while former striker Edinson Cavani's ex-wife was mugged in 2012.
