Willian responds to Manchester United transfer links

Willian has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent months with Barcelona and Manchester United said to be interested in his signature.

The Brazilian who was frustrated under former boss Antonio Conte at Chelsea was believed to have agreed to join the La Liga champions this summer.

Jose Mourinho on the other hand, was hoping to re-unite with his former player but United’s board were reluctant to give him funds.

However, the 29-year-old has come out from silence and has insisted that he is happy at Chelsea and is not thinking of leaving anytime soon.

‘I’m back to England,’ Willian told Brazilian TV show Esporte Espetacular.

‘I’m very happy at Chelsea. I’m very happy living in London.’

Chelsea appointed Maurizio Sarri to replace Antonio Conte and Willian will be looking forward to working with the former Napoli boss after a frustrating season under Antonio Conte.
