Kitur wins Praque Marathon 2018

Kenyan runner Bornes Jepkirui Kitur has won the Praque International Marathon after beating fellow female athletes breaking the tape after 2 hours, 24 minutes and 19 seconds.

Kitur beat Ethiopians Belaynesh Oljira and Amane Gobena in the Sunday morning race. She also won the 2017 Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon. This was however different in the men’s category as Stephen Chemlany came third in a time of 2: 09: 42 after Olympic Bronze medalist Galen Rupp from USA, who finished at 2: 07: 07.
