Manchester United playmaker Paul Pogba has spoken of his admiration for PSG star Neymar as he revealed he would love to play with the Brazilian during an interview.

Pogba also claimed he grew up idolising England legend Chris Waddle who was big back in the days.

"I love the way he is and at some moment in time we’re going to play together," Pogba told the interviewer when asked about Neymar.

Explaining further: "Neymar is the definition of happiness on the pitch. In Brazil football is everything. Everyone plays football.

“I love to see him on the pitch playing, with his technique and his ability. It’s a different style. When you say the word Neymar around the world, everyone knows who he is and what he does.

"Therefore if I could play with him one day it would be a pleasure."

When asked who his idols were, the French international revealed a shock answer.

He said: "When I was smaller I always looked up to Zidane, Messi, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo.

"I had videos of Maradona. Pele, Chris Waddle, Kaka, many players. I wanted to have all the virtues of those players.

"Now I look more at players like Iniesta, Yaya Toure, Kevin De Bruyne who is a young player and Modric who is a very strong midfielder player. I look at them to try to be better."

Pogba finished off the interview by revealing that every goal he scores is in honour of his late father, who tragically passed away nearly a year ago.
