A freestyle footballer has broken a crazy world record that has previously been held by the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez

John Farnworth attempted to control a football that was dropped from a staggering 137ft up in the air - and incredibly managed it after a few attempts.

Farnworth was reclaiming his record, which was first beaten by Arsenal forward Theo Walcott, before Barcelona duo Messi and Suarez both beat it.

"I'll be honest with you, I was a bit nervous because it is quite windy," Farnworth said aftewards.

"When my mate Danny who was up there was dropping it down, it was spinning all over the place."

The previous record was 111ft, meaning the 31-year-old professional show-off beat the previous best by an impressive 26ft.

He holds the record for the most 'around the world' tricks in a minute, among many other skill-based titles. In total, Farnworth now holds eight world records.
