Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino on Friday revealed that there was worse news, regarding the fitness of both Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama.

Wanyama has been out since August after 2-1 defeat to Chelsea while Dembele was injured on Monday.

Pochettino says that Tottenham Hotspur are “concerned” about the fitness problems of Wanyama and Mousa Dembele, and admitted it is still unknown when they will return.

Wanyama will see a specialist next week as he continues to struggle with a knee problem, while Dembele's injury-ridden campaign is now being hampered by a fresh hip problem.

"We are concerned about his situation," Mauricio said.

"We must wait for when he sees the specialist and then we'll see what happens. But of course after some time without him involved in the training sessions and with the team, we are concerned. But now we need to wait next week to have a more clear idea of what's going on."
