Former Chelsea player set to join Inter Milan in January

Inter Milan have struck a deal to sign former Chelsea star Ramires, according to reports in Italy.

According to the Sun, Inter have ties with Ramires' current side, as both clubs are owned by the Suning Group.

The Chinese Super League season ends in November, and the former ex-Benfica man, 30, could head straight to the Italians' training group to integrate himself with the his future team-mates.

Ramires is currently nursing a knee injury, though it is not thought to be anything long-term.

The Brazilian scored 34 goals in 251 matches for Chelsea, winning a league title and the Champions League.
