Karim Benzema is set to staying at Real Madrid despite being linked to a move to Premier league giants Arsenal.

Reports indicate that the 29-year-old has ruled out leaving Real Madrid.

There was a suggestion that Real president Florentino Perez believes the time is right to sacrifice Benzema should he bring in his fellow countryman Mbappe.

Real Madrid were reported to have alerted Arsenal to the availability of £62million-rated football star.

But the fact is Benzema has developed striking partnership alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale at Real Madrid.
