Legends frustrated over mistreatment

Some of the athletics legends invited by the Local Organising Committee (LOC) as special guests to the global event are quite unhappy.

Some have travelled from as far as Kericho and hustled to get passes for the championships, and before they were done with the trouble, President Uhuru Kenyatta declared entry into the event would be free of charge. To compound their problems, the former athletes were turned away from the hotel where they were expecting to be accommodated.
