Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has made Everton star Romelu Lukaku his top summer target and is ready to offer Wayne Rooney in exchange for the lethal striker.

Lukaku’s current club Everton are demanding £100million for the Premier League's top scorer, who is wanted by Chelsea and Manchester United.

But Manchester United want to pay less and may propose a deal that would enable Rooney's return to Everton.

Lukaku has refused to sign a new Everton deal and could leave the club this summer.
