Coast Stima has been awarded the aborted match of the FKF Division One league against Fresha.

The match was slated for last weekend at Githunguri Stadium but failed to kick off due to unavailability of the venue which was being used for a political rally.

According to the current league standing released by the federation, Coast Stima has been awarded the match and the points reflected on the  table.

An excited Coast Stima Technical Director Yahya Hussein: “I am happy that the federation gave a fair verdict on the matter as per the league rules and regulations which, states that the home team is responsible for making prior arrangement for an alternative venue in case the original match venue is unavailable,” said Yahya.

With the results, Coast Stima have maximum six points from two matches and three points behind leaders Green Berets.
