Muhoroni Youth are once again in trouble with the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) for unlawful dismissal of players.
The club, which was recently reinstated to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL), has been ordered to pay three players it sacked unfairly Sh2, 015, 000.
The three are Kevin Otieno, Andrew Sekayombya and Victor Omune. The three, according to their lawyer Vincent Majani, are to be paid within the next seven days. According to the ruling delivered by Elyna Shiveka for the tribunal, Sekayombya will be paid the highest amount of money at Sh815, 000.
This is to cover his salary for 19 months. The Ugandan was entitled to a salary of Sh45, 000 per month. Kevin Otieno on the other hand will walk away with Sh630, 000 being pending salary for 14 months while Victor Omune will receive Sh418, 000.
