Spanish La Liga has announced that it will enable Spanish football fans to stream a selection of matches on Facebook Live for free, according to ="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/2889790/facebook-free-la-liga-granada-real-betis/">The Sun.<

This is not the first time for a match to be streamed live on Facebook, Spanish Copa del Rey clashes between Atletico Madrid and FC Barcelona and RC Celta and D. Alaves were shown live via LaLiga's official Facebook page (="https://www.facebook.com/LaLiga/">Facebook.com/laliga<).

The initiative represents a further example of LaLiga's commitment to innovation and takes its place within the organisation's digital development strategy, with one of the goals of the project being to allow Spanish football followers from all corners of the globe to enjoy these games.
