After missing the first two legs of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens series in Dubai and Cape Town, Collins Injera makes a return for the third and fourth legs in the Wellington and Sydney Sevens.
The Wellington games are slated for January 28-29 while the Sidney leg takes place on February 3-5.
Sevens head coach Innocent Simiyu also made changes to the squad, dropping KCB’s Martin Owila, Cyprian Kuto of Homeboyz, Kenya Harlequins’ Frank Wanyama and Darwin Mukidza.
In their place, Simuyu recalled Oscar Ouma of Nakuru, Kenya Harlequins’ Eden Agero, Homeboyz’s Bush Mwale and Sammy Oliech of Impala.
At the Wellington Sevens, the Kenya team, which is currently placed tenth in the standings with 17 points after two legs, will square it out with Argentina, Papua New Guinea and Cape Town Sevens champions England in Group A.

While naming the travelling squad, Simuyu expressed confidence that the return of the experienced players would boost his side ahead of the two legs.
“We expect a good outing in the forthcoming tournaments following the return of our more experienced players. We also thank the (Kenya Rugby) Union for trying to sort out the players' contractual issues,” said Simuyu.
