Kenya’s national team Harambee Stars have moved up to position 85 in the latest FIFA rankings. The country moved six places up the ladder in the rankings released on Thursday.

Kenya is now placed at position 85 globally from position 91 which they occupied in the previous release.

The step is seen as a great improvement compared to the disappointing rankings in the past few years.

With bad management Kenyan football has had in the recent years, the country dropped deep down to the worst, but the good steps Football Kenya Federation (FKF) are taking to improve the standards of football under the new president Nick Mwendwa, the indications are positive and should things work as planned, then Kenya will still continue moving up the ladder in the FIFA world rankings.
