N’Golo Kante wants to join Chelsea this summer, and will reject a new contract at Leicester City.
The French international has been linked with a move to a host of clubs - including Juventus, Man United and Arsenal - after a sensational debut season at the King Power Stadium.
Having arrived from Caen last summer for £5.6million, Kante has won the Premier League and forced his way into the France squad, becoming first-choice under Didier Deschamps.
And while Claudio Ranieri would desperately like to keep hold of the 25-year-old, the release clause in Kante’s contract has made him a top target for a host of Europe’s so-called elite.
Chelsea have also been eyeing Belgium’s Radja Nainggolan, as new boss Antonio Conte looks for at least one energetic midfielder as he seeks to implement his hard-running style at Stamford Bridge.
