Benteke off to Palace?

Christian Benteke has emerged as a summer transfer target for Crystal Palace, according to reports.

The Daily Star say Benteke is one of three high-profile players Eagles boss Alan Pardew wants to sign, with England duo Saido Berahino and Andros Townsend also on his radar.

Benteke, 25, only joined the Reds last summer but endured a difficult season on Merseyside, with Jurgen Klopp seemingly not a fan of the big frontman.

Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi are both ahead of Benteke in the striking pecking order at Anfield.
