Yaya Toure moves into house next to Wayne Rooney

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has a new next door neighbour - but he's unlikely to be popping round for a brew anytime soon.

That's because the record England goalscorer now lives next to Manchester City ace Yaya Toure.

City midfielder Toure, 32, has rented the vacant £4million property next to Rooney's family home in Prestbury, Cheshire, according to The Sun on Sunday.

A source said: "They could end up having a game of keepy-uppy over their garden fences."

But it remains to be seen if they will take in each other's Amazon deliveries or take each other's bins out for collection.

The duo are believed to be the top paid players in the Premier League, with a combined weekly salary of around £500,000.

Rooney has lived in his £5million mansion since 2005 after having the initial building knocked down.

He lives there with wife Coleen and three children Kai, Klay, Kit.

Other nearby residents in Prestbury include Stoke striker Peter Crouch and TV personality Paddy McGuinness.
