Arsenal are being linked with a double swoop for a Bundesliga midfielder and a Paris Saint-Germain star.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is set to splash out £52million on two young players, reports the Daily Star on Sunday.

The paper claims the club will look to bring in Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka, 23, from Borussia Monchengladbach for £37million, and reckon PSG’s Adrien Rabiot will also join in a £15million move, after his mother - who is also his agent - travelled to London to finalise a deal.

It seems like an awful lot of money for the notoriously careful Wenger to spend in one go (especially in January) but we’ll keep an eye on that one.
