Manchester United have bid £21.9million for Felipe Anderson, according to Italian source Tuttomercatoweb.

After missing out on Pedro, United are believed to still be interested in bringing in a new addition to their ranks before Tuesday's deadline day.

Lazio forward Anderson is one of the hottest prospects to come from Brazil in recent years and at 22-years-old, has a long future ahead of him should he make the move.

Despite featuring in the Champions League for Lazio against Bayer Leverkusen, he would be able to play in the competition for United should he move in this transfer window.

United are now thought to be pondering a bid to test Lazio's resolve to keep hold of the South American.
