Manchester United target Pedro could be set for a reunion with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola.

The Barca and Spain winger is understood to be available for £23million this summer as he struggles to find his way past the glittering trio of Luis Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi.

United are known to be looking at the World Cup winner, but reports in Germany on Wednesday suggest that Guardiola is considering backing up his own stellar (but injury-prone) cast.

TZ , a Munich-based newspaper, has claimed that Bayern’s interest is real but had not yet come to light, and cite Pedro’s promotion to the Barcelona first team under Pep as one example of the Spanish coach’s faith in the winger.
