John Terry has refused to rule out following former Chelsea team-mate Frank Lampard to the MLS.

The Blues stalwart signed a new 12-month extension earlier this year and wants to end his career at Stamford Bridge.

However, Terry, 34, admits he could move overseas before he finally hangs up his boots.

"I would love to finish my career at Chelsea and maybe there is a time when I look to go to play in America or whatever might be best for my family at the time," he told talkSPORT.

"Hopefully I have a couple of years left at least. I always thought I could get to age of 35 and still [be] playing and I am getting close to that now."

Lampard will hook up with New York City FC this summer after the completion of his loan spell at Manchester City.
