Manchester United's Robin van Persie

Robin van Persie could be offered a route away from Manchester United by Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

The 31-year-old is set to be offered one final big money contract before the end of his career, according to the Sun on Sunday.

Van Persie is reportedly unsure about whether he will sign a new deal at Old Trafford, with his current deal expiring in the summer of 2016.

One of the Dutchman's former international team-mates in Dirk Kuyt currently plays for Fenerbahce, having made the move to Turkey three years ago.

He is not the only big name Netherlands player to be playing in the country either, with Wesley Sneijder featuring for Galatasaray.

Van Persie is currently sidelined with an ankle injury for United and has struggled to show the form which saw him becoming one of the top Premier League strikers, despite notched 10 goals this season.
