Lionel Messi reportedly told FC Barcelona’s bosses to bring Angel di Maria from Manchester United.
Di Maria and Messi linked up brilliantly at the 2014 World Cup before the Man United winger suffered an injury and eventually missed the final.

Di Maria has been off form since returning from injury in January and van Gaal took off Angel di Maria at half-time in Saturday's win over Sunderland.
Van Gaal claims all players need time to adjust when they join a new club and says Di Maria can only be properly judged next season.
Di Maria and his family have failed to settle in Manchester following his record-breaking £59.7million move from Real Madrid last summer. And that could pave the way for United to offload the under-performing Argentina star.
