LONDON: David Beckham will no doubt have been beaming proudly on Thursday afternoon after watching his son Romeo turn out for Arsenal’s academy side against Liverpool’s youth team.

Romeo has become Beckham’s second son, after Brooklyn, to represent the north London side after reportedly signing for the club’s academy before playing against Liverpool at their Kirkby academy base.

David made the trip to Merseyside with his youngest son Cruz to watch Romeo in action, with the 12-year-old said to have put in a stand-out performance against the Reds’ youth side – scoring Arsenal’s second goal in the 3-2 win.
