Ozil posts awkward Instagram video

LONDON: For some reason, the word 'personality' doesn't spring to mind when thinking of Mesut Ozil. This new video of his certainly isn't going to do anything to change that.

The German midfielder tweeted a video of himself sat in his garden, perched ever so awkwardly on a step, and proceeded to thank his fans for teir support in what we think is his best Arnold Schwarzenegger impression.

What he lacks in charisma he certainly makes up for in brilliantly awkward humour. The idea of Mesut Ozil sat at home, bored and suddenly deciding to record this is probably our favourite thing about the whole painful process.

We're sure Tottenham fans are absolutely delighted. As soon as Ozil has his predictable dip in form – around the same time Arsenal fans start slating him again - you know they'll be bringing this out.
