Kenya ranked lowly in IRB series

Nairobi, Kenya: After three legs of the IRB series, Kenya has collected just 11 points and is ranked 14th with Japan the only other core team in 15th with three points.
In this lower half above Kenya are Portugal (13 points), Canada 14, France 19 and Wales 25.
Interim coach Felix Ochieng’s first assignment will be in February during the Wellington Sevens, the fourth tournament of the Series where Kenya has been drawn in group ‘D’ with Argentina, Scotland and Samoa.
After this, the team will move to USA also in February before travelling to Hong Kong for the fifth leg of the series. From Hong Kong the team will move to Japan in April and then take part in the two final legs in Scotland and London.
