Shabana FC coach Gilbert Selebwa celebrates with players

Nairobi, Kenya: Shabana have now crossed the borders in their bid to bolster their squad for next season. The team has signed Derrrickson Muchinji and Habib Mohammed from Express of Uganda as well as Ichi Chibweze from Nigeria.

Club Technical Director Director Gilbert Selebwa said they hope to avoid going down in the first leg, thus the need to beef up their squad.

“The national league is very competitive and you have only 15 matches to make an impact in the first leg.

“This is the reason we are investing in quality players so that we do not suffer the same fate suffered by teams joining KPL,” he said.
