Former Manchester United boss David Moyes is reportedly on the Real Sociedad shortlist if the Spanish club decide to dispense with current coach Jagoba Arrasate.
The Basque club are enduring a difficult campaign this term, winning just one of their first nine La Liga fixtures, while they were also knocked out of the Europa League by FC Krasnodar before the group stage.
Arrasate, promoted from the youth set-up in 2013, is rumoured to be close to the sack, with club president Jokin Aperribay telling Cadena Ser that he is looking at alternatives.
"It is true that we are working on finding other alternatives and possibilities. I have spoken about that with the coach [Arrasate], who knows that already.
"A club in this situation looks at alternatives and possibilities in case things happen and situations get more difficult."

According to Cope radio, Moyes is a contender to replace Arrasate, if he fails to get a positive result against Malaga this weekend.
Moyes has been without a club since being sacked by United in April.
Other contenders are reportedly former Tottenham boss Juande Ramos, ex-West Brom head coach Pepe Mel and the former Mainz coach Thomas Tuchel.
