Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua was the subject of discussion in social media forums on Monday after fining Gor Mahia Sh10 million and banning the team from playing at Kenyatta Stadium.

The social media comments mainly from K’ogalo fans mocked Mutua’s action wondering whether the Machakos Governor has enough authority to fine Gor Mahia.

Using the hashtag # SomeoneTellMutua, some of the fans reminded Mutua that that the club owes Kenya Revenue Authority over 100 million and they have never recovered even a single coin,

“What is 10 million?” a fan posed.

Another fan reminded Mutua to join Pesa Mashinani or Okoa Kenya referendum campaigns if he really wants Sh10 million he is asking the team to pay.
