Arsene Wenger is confident Laurent Koscielny will be fit for Arsenal's next game after being dealt yet another injury blow.

Koscielny was released from the French squad after suffering a recurrenceof his persistant Achilles injury.

Gunners boss Wenger has been managing the issue since the summer and itremains a concern, particularly because they already have a shortage ofdefenders.

But Arsenal are hoping Koscielny will be fit to face Hull on Saturday weekafter the French FA decided not to risk the centre half.

That comes on top of Arsenal losing Mesut Ozil for up to three months and the German midfielder has now flown back to London for tests on his knee injury.

Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Debuchy and Olivier Giroud are already out through injury as Arsenal's curse has struck again this season.

Arsenal believe they are being extra cautious with Koscielny but the fearis that they have little or no back up if he does need surgery on theproblem.
