All is not well in the den! AFC Leopards, once mighty club, has been reduced to an average team fighting relegation.
In July, Game Yetu questioned Pieter De Jongh’s credentials and went ahead to reveal the Dutchman was suspended by the Hungary FA after falsifying his coaching licence.
However, our efforts to enlighten the Ingwe fraternity came to naught after De Jongh led them to some few scrappy wins.
With the league entering the homestretch, Ingwe has been hit hard with reality as they are now facing relegation following their 2-1 defeat to Western Stima and last weekend’s hard-fought 2-2 draw against KCB in Mumias.

For over a month now, Leopards has failed to hit the 30-point mark.
Reports indicate that the Allan Kasavuli-led NEC, which hired De Jongh after axing James Nandwa, has given him a two-match ultimatum to prove his worth including the Gotv Shield clash against our bogey team Tusker.
