KPL: HOW SAFE ARE FANS’ CARS?

Gossip & Rumours

Just when we thought things are normal and there is enough security at match venues, the ‘hunters’ are back and this time round hitting at a time when the football mood is ripe. Kasarani was the venue and as usual, the unexpected visitors toured the parking area where fans parked their cars to watch the match (Tusker v Gor Mahia) on Sunday.
Their silent tour always leave damages and at worst a permanent case of car theft that no police or even security personnel have ever traced. Complains have been raised time and again but numerous cases have been reported but it seems the incidents of car theft are still recurring.
Another car (Premio) was stolen during that match and like many other stolen cars in the previous cases, any leading word is yet to be heard about the car. Several cars were broken into and radio systems stolen as well and one wonders where the security at the parking lot was like it should be?
Security in the stadium should be the top priority of match organisers and any team hosting a match.
