Harambee Stars match against Lesotho might be switched to a diffrent venue as Nyayo Stadium is booked for a church function.

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) insists the match will be played at Nyayo Stadium, while Sports Stadia Management Board (SSMB), the owners of the facility, says it is booked for a religious function.

The federation has even printed tickets inviting fans to turn up at Nyayo Stadium for the do or die fixture. VIP tickets will cost Sh1,000 while those sitting in the terraces will pay Sh200.

FKF President Sam Nyamweya said: "We informed the Sports Stadia Management Board of our intention to host the match at Nyayo Stadium last month. Furthermore, this being a sports facility, the match should take precedence over anything else. We have already informed CAF and our opponents about hosting the match here and any change at the last minute will not be taken well.

"Chances are Lesotho may refuse to turn up at any other venue we inform them at this late stage. We are talking to SSMB to offer the religious group an alternative venue."

SSMB Public Relations Officer Rakhi Asman said only Safaricom Stadium, Kasarani is available.
