GOR MAHIA'S GOALKEEPER JERIM ONYANGO

Kenyan coach Adel Amrouche has defended Gor Mahia goalkeeper Jerim Onyango after the custodian gifted AFC Leopards during their derby on Sunday at Nyayo Stadium. Amrouche said he has talked to Onyango as well as AFC Leopards goalkeeper Wycliff Kasaya over their performance on Sunday and revealed it was just a bad day in the office for the two. “Onyango should not take the blame wholly for the result. Prior to making that mistake, he had made some good saves. I also thought Kasaya should have done better. I have talked with both goalkeepers and reiterated my confidence in their ability,” he said.
