Handball: Egypt edge Tunisia to win African title

Egypt will represent Africa in next year’s World Junior Championship after emerging champions in the just concluded 20th edition of Junior African Championship.
The Pharaohs squeezed a slim 25-23 win over Tunisia to win the title in the hotly contested finals played at the Safaricom Indoor Arena, Kasarani, over the weekend. The match started on a high note with both teams having their share of chances Egypt took a 12-11 in the breather but on resumption, Tunisia came in strongly to record 15-12 lead but were not able to maintain the lead and win the match 25-23.
