The Kenya Secondary School Sports Association national Term Two netball matches will today kick off today with last year’s finalists Nyakach Girls playing Bukoholo Girls of Western Region at the Kenya Polytechnic grounds in Kisumu.
Nyakach, who are seeking redemption after losing to defending champions Kaya Tiwi Girls last year, will be aiming for a perfect start and head coach Sally Keta is keen on collecting maximum points.
“The games are finally here and it’s up to the girls to win it. We have done all the necessary preparations as a team and we look forward to a very competitive and fruitful outing,” she said.
The Nyanza Region champions will later take on Eastern’s Syumile Mixed, who have been consistent in their performance. This will be their third consecutive appearance at the games since their debut in 2017.
Rift Valley giants Cheptil Girls will tackle Syumile and Bukoholo in the day one pool B matches before facing Nyakach tomorrow in the final pool match.
