Arsenal will offer Arsene Wenger a new deal in an attempt to keep him from the clutches of England.

That is according to The Express, who say the north Londoners want to offer the Frenchman fresh terms amid interest from the FA.

Wenger has been identified as a possible replacement for Roy Hodgson who resigned following the Three Lions' humiliating Euro 2016 exit at the hands of Iceland.

The 66-year old is currently in the final season of a three-year deal and could be tempted by an international role.
