EPL: Wesley Sneijder has attempted to quash rumours of a January move to Manchester United by insisting he’s happy at Galatasaray and can’t wait for the transfer window to shut.
The Dutchman, 29, has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford, and speculation suggested David Moyes was finally ready to break the bank to land the former Inter Milan playmaker in a bid to revive his side’s title tilt.
However, Sneijder told Beyaz TV: ‘Up to now there have been no offers.
‘There are rumours about me in every transfer window. I look forward to the end of transfer windows so people stop taking about me. I’m very happy here with the team and the fans and I have no reason to leave.
‘This type of news always happens. You just need to wait until the end of the window.’
