Jackie Matubia shuts down breakup rumours with Blessing Lung'aho

There have been rumours circulating on social media about relationship trouble between Kenyan actress Jackie Matubia and her fiance Blessing Lung'aho.
Netizens have been speculating for the past two weeks that there may be trouble in the couple's household, citing their temporary halt on their YouTube channel, their absence from events and parties together, and their lack of social media activity about each other as evidence.
The rumours were further fueled when Jackie didn't acknowledge Blessing's birthday on April 24, leading to further speculation about the state of their relationship.
However, Jackie has now come forward to address the rumors, denying that there are any problems in their relationship.
She took to her Instagram stories to respond to the allegations, writing, "People want you to be unhappy soooo bad... nah, WE BLESSED OVER HERE!!!" and continuing to dismiss the rumors by highlighting that people are just bitter and projecting their unhappiness onto others.
In response to a curious netizen who speculated that her recent videos about men cheating and being a strong woman were indirect messages about her relationship, Jackie responded by saying, "Passive aggressive videos??? Lol, I'm always posting... hun stop being a monitoring spirit and focus on your sight!"
She also urged people to focus on themselves instead of trying to find problems where there are none.
This is not the first time the couple has dismissed rumours of breaking up.
In August 2022, Blessing Lung'aho dismissed reports that he had broken up with Jackie Matubia, saying they are still together and doing well, and asking fans to ignore the rumors on social media because they are false and misleading.
"I'm just from the gym. I'm even seated here next to her, and I just want to go take a shower," Lungaho said.
Matubia reiterated Blessing's sentiments, saying she learned about the separation claims after numerous phone calls from concerned friends. She affirmed that all was well in her house.
The couple's relationship has been a source of public interest after announcing they were together.
On February 14, 2022, Matubia shared a video introducing Lungaho as her baby daddy-to-be after keeping it under wraps for some time.
In April, Lung'aho proposed to Matubia on her birthday, and she said a big yes. "He proposed, and I said Yes! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life laughing and loving you always," Matubia said. The couple welcomed their first child together in June 2022.
