Kambua lost her secondborn child Malachi following birth-related complications. She recently opened up about her feelings since his demise, saying she was still coming to terms with the situation.

"The smallest coffins are the heaviest. One day I'll tell you about that. Not today but someday," she said.

For Malachi's first birthday celebration and remembrance, the singer wrote a touching post wishing she would spend it with his family.

"Happy 1st birthday in heaven my precious Malachi ???. We'd have loved to hold you close today, but I know Jesus and the angels have smothered you with so much love and that gives us peace. You are forever loved," she penned.

Although Kambua's parenthood journey has been filled with ups and downs, she is grateful God came through for her.
