Strathmore Leos, fresh from winning the Prinsloo Sevens title, are tied with KCB Rugby at the top of the National Sevens Circuit standings after two thrilling rounds. Both sides have collected 41 points each.
Leos, who finished second at the opening leg in Mombasa, bounced back strongly in Nakuru to defeat KCB in the Prinsloo Sevens final. The win marked their first title of the season and confirmed them as serious contenders for the overall crown.
KCB, on the other hand, started the campaign on a high by dominantly winning the Driftwood Sevens. However, they had to settle for second place in Nakuru, leaving the two rivals level on points heading into the next leg in Nairobi.
Nakuru RFC and Menengai Oilers follow closely on 28 points each. Nakuru have impressed with consistent quarter-final appearances, while Oilers have managed back-to-back top-five finishes. Kabras RFC sit fifth with 27 points after a mixed run - third place in Mombasa but an early exit in Nakuru.
