Kenya Harlequin going for nothing short of Prinsloo title

Kenya Harlequin head coach Paul Murunga says the overall title of the National Sevens Circuit is theirs to lose.
Therefore, they will do everything to ensure they romp into the semifinals of the Prinsloo Sevens that kicks-off at Nakuru Athletic Club on Saturday.
But Murunga is keen not to meet KCB, who are the overall circuit defending champions at the quarterfinals since their desire is to face the bankers either in semis or finals.
"KCB have some refined players who are equally motivated just like us. But we would rather face them either in the semis or finals. However, I won't care if fate have us in the quarterfinals because we have beaten them thrice in the circuit this year," Murunga told Standard Sports.
Harlequins who are the top seeds of the tournament are in Group A alongside Menengai Oilers, Zetech University and Mombasa RFC.

"If we finish at the top in our group and KCB also does so in theirs, then we'll not face-off in the last eight. But if one of us finish at the top and the other runners-up, then definitely we'll meet in the quarterfinals. But we are ready for any eventuality," stated Murunga.
KCB are in Group B together with hosts Nakuru RFC, Nondescripts and Mwamba RFC.
Though worried of the threat posed Nakuru RFC and Menengai Oilers, Murunga is determined to end their season on a high note.
"That's a big and pipe dream for them. It's just like dreaming to drive a Range Rover but you can only afford a Toyota. Anyway, let's wait and see," he added.
