Kabras Sugar will head to the second leg of the 2024 National Sevens Circuit top of the table after last weekend's Christie Sevens dominance in Nairobi.

The sugar men saw off Kenya Harlequin 17-12 to emerge Christie Sevens champions during the opening leg of the circuit played at the RFUEA Grounds.

The win lifted Kabras to the top of the table with 22 points.

Quins who finished runners up are second in the standing with 19 points.

Surprise package Catholic Monks are third on the log with 17 points having managed to win the third place final playoffs 10-5 against Strathmore Leos.

Former champions KCB who were eliminated in the main cup quarters by their nemesis Kabras finished fifth while Menengai Oilers finished sixth.

This after the Nakuru based Oilers went down 27-12 to the bankers in the Plate finals.

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) Rugby are seventh on the log with 10 points drawing level with Nondescript having fallen short to the plate finalists in the semis.

Kenyatta University's Blak Bad are ninth above fellow university side Daystar University Falcons.

Nakuru RFC and Homeboyz rugby draw in points as positions 11 and 12 having lost in the Bowl semis.

University of Eldoret Trojans and Mwamba RFC are 13 and 14 respectively having battled their efforts in the shield finals each holding 3 and 2 points.

Impala RFC and Kisumu RFC are at bottom of the table with a single point each.
