Kabras Sugar are the 2024 Christie Sevens champions.
The sugar men kicked off this year's National Sevens Circuit campaign on the front foot after seeing off Kenya Harlequin 17-12 to win the Christie Sevens on Sunday at RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi.
Patrick Lumumba who was instrumental for the sugar millers during the unbeaten 2023-2024 Kenya Cup season gave Kabras a 5-0 lead after going over the white wash for an unconverted try.
Griffins Chao stretched the lead to 10-0 after some brilliance play before Erick Cantona added the extras to extend the scorers to 12-0.
Down but not out, Quins responded through Amon Wamalwa before another try by Wamalwa tied the scores to 12-12.
