St Mary's School Yala will face off against nemesis Maseno School in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Nyanza Region Secondary School rugby sevens finals at Cardinal Otunga Mosocho on Friday.

Albert Otieno and Joseph Onyango each scored a brace in Yala's 26-14 win over hosts Cardinal Otunga in their opening match.
Otieno again landed a brace, but this time, alongside Henry Oduor in their 34-5 win over Gekano. Onyango sealed the win in the five try win for the Siaya county giants.
